This Project is no longer in development due to the fact that I have developed a better, more reliable solution based on Corosync and Pacemaker which you can find here:
A High Availability, Load-balanced, distributed Cron server written in python. Based partially on code from pydirector (Anthony Baxter) and croniter (Matsumoto Taichi). This is currently BETA software and NOT for production use.
